I’ve changed my CMS or platform — What should I do?
Switching from one CMS to another
If you’ve switched CMS (for example, from PrestaShop to Shopify, WooCommerce, etc.), it’s important to update your integration with Revi so the system continues to function correctly.
What should I do if I want to change CMS?
-
Log in to your Revi dashboard
-
Go to Stores > Create new store
-
Select your new CMS or platform
-
Follow the integration instructions specific to that platform
📌 You don’t need to create a new account — just add the new store from your existing dashboard.
What if your reviews don’t appear on your new website?
It’s possible that product IDs have changed between one platform and another (e.g., PrestaShop used numeric IDs and Shopify uses different codes).
To recover and reassign your existing reviews to the correct products:
-
Prepare an Excel file with two columns:
-
Column A: Old product IDs
-
Column B: New product IDs
-
-
Send this file to our Support team, and our technical team will handle linking the reviews to the new products.
Why am I still seeing my old store in Revi?
We keep your old store in Revi because it contains all your previous reviews. Don’t worry — this doesn’t affect your current setup.
From now on, all new reviews will be collected under the new store you created after switching CMS or platform.
✅ Important: Your review widgets will automatically display the total number of reviews, combining both the old and new stores.
This way, you won’t lose any review history or visibility.
