How do I verify my domain? – DNS

How do I verify my domain? – DNS

What is the purpose of validating a domain?

Domain verification not only confirms that you are the owner or administrator of the website, but it is also essential for complying with email security and authentication policies such as DMARC, SPF, and DKIM.

This process ensures that emails sent from Revi on behalf of your domain are recognized as legitimate and not marked as spam, improving deliverability and trust in your communications.

How can I validate my domain in Revi?

  1. Log in to your Revi dashboard and go to the Domains section.
  2. You will see 3 DNS records (SPF, DMARC, DKIM) — all are TXT-type DNS records that need to be added.
  3. Copy these records and access your domain management panel (i.e., your hosting or domain provider’s control panel).
👉 If you already have a DMARC record set up, you don’t need to add Revi’s.
  4. Add the DNS records provided by Revi in your domain’s DNS settings. In some cases, this section may be labeled as "DNS Zone".

Where can I find the DNS zone for different providers?

GoDaddy – DNS > “Manage DNS”
Raiola Networks – DNS Zone > “DNS Editor” or “DNS Zone Editor”
IONOS (1&1) – DNS > “DNS Settings” or “Manage DNS Zone”
CDmon – Domains > “DNS Management” or “Edit DNS Zone”
SiteGround – Site Tools > Domains > “DNS Zone” or “DNS Zone Editor”
Hostinger – Domains > “DNS / DNS Zone Editor”
DonDominio – Domains > “DNS Zone” or “Record Editor”
HostGator – cPanel > “Zone Editor” or “Advanced Zone Editor”
Google Domains – “DNS” or “DNS Settings”

cPanel – Domains > “Zone Editor” / “DNS Zone Editor”

⚠️ If you're using cPanel, it's possible that the DNS records you add may be cut off. You can use the "+" button to add another DNS record line. Paste the remaining part of the code into the second line.
