My review invitations are not being sent – Emails
Reasons for non-delivery
If some of your orders are not receiving the review invitation email, it could be due to several reasons:
🔹 You've reached your subscription’s email limit: If you have used up all the emails included in your plan, new invitations won’t be sent until your next renewal or until you purchase an Email Credit Bundle.
🔹 The order status does not match your configured settings: Revi only sends invitations to orders that have reached the status you have set in your system (e.g., "Shipped" or "Completed"). Check Panel > Orders to see if the affected orders have the correct status.
🔹 The customer’s email is on the Blacklist: If the email address has been added to the Blacklist, it will not receive review invitations. You can check and manage the list from Settings > Blacklist.
🔹 The order is too old: Revi only sends invitations for orders placed within the last 30 days. If an order is outside this range, you can manually retrieve it from your panel.
Order Status Configuration
Revi needs to know when to start counting the days before sending the review invitation to the customer. This is managed through the Valid Order Status setting within the Revi module in your CMS.
✅ How to configure it:
-
Go to the Revi module installed in your store (e.g., in PrestaShop or WooCommerce).
-
Find the option called Valid Order Status.
-
Select the order status that you consider as “completed” or “valid” (e.g., Shipped, Delivered, Completed, etc.).
From that status onward, Revi will begin counting the configured number of days before sending the invitation.
📌 Example:
If you select the status “Shipped” and have set a 7-day delay, Revi will send the review invitation 7 days after the order reaches that status.
