Block sending invitations to specific email addresses

If you don’t want certain email addresses to receive invitations to leave reviews through Revi, you can use the blacklist feature. This tool allows you to manually block specific addresses to prevent them from receiving emails—whether sent automatically or manually—from the platform.

What is the blacklist for?

The blacklist prevents Revi from sending review invitations to email addresses that:

  • Are internal test addresses.

  • Have been identified as bots, spam, or unwanted users.

  • Belong to people you don’t wish to contact after a sale.

  • Belong to auto-generated domains from certain platforms like Amazon or Miravia.

How to add emails to the blacklist:

  1. Log in to your Revi dashboard.

  2. Go to Settings > Blacklist.

  3. Add the email addresses you want to block. You can do this one by one, or by adding a domain.

    • A domain is everything after the @ symbol, for example: @amazon.com

  4. Save the changes.

From that moment on, any attempt to send an invitation to those emails—either automatically via CMS or manually—will be blocked.

👉 You can also use the "Add to Blacklist" button from within the Orders Panel, directly inside the order.

📝 Important note:

  • Emails on the blacklist will not receive any review invitations from Revi.

  • However, they will still receive system or account-related communications from Revi, if applicable.

  • This setting is reversible: you can remove an address from the blacklist at any time if you want to re-enable sending.
