How to send invitations to users who haven’t bought on your website?

If you want to collect reviews from customers who made their purchase offline or through another channel, use Manual Invitations. This way, you can send them a review request email even if they don’t have an order registered in your CMS.



How to send a verified manual invitation without a real order?

  1. Go to Review Collection > Send Manual Invitation
    From your Revi dashboard, open the Review Collection menu and select Manual Invitation.

  2. Select “Invitation”
    Choose the verified option.

  3. Enter a fictitious Order ID
    Use a unique identifier that does not exist and cannot exist in your CMS (e.g., MANUAL-20250711-01).
    📌 This ensures Revi won’t mistake it for a real order and allows the review to be marked as verified.

  4. Fill in recipient details

    • Email: Customer’s email address

    • Name (optional): For a personalized greeting

    • Language: (if available on your plan)

  5. Add products (optional)
    To collect product-specific reviews, list one or more items; otherwise, leave blank to collect a store review.

  6. Create Invitation
    Review the details and click Create Invitation.
    Then, expand the order that appears in the table and click Send Manual Invitation to dispatch it immediately.
