How to enable stars in Google ads? – Google Shopping Ratings

What are the benefits of displaying stars on your Google Shopping ads?

Showing stars in your Google Shopping ads is an excellent way to grab users’ attention, increase your click-through rate (CTR), and boost trust in your products.

Revi is an official Google Product Reviews partner, which allows us to send your product ratings directly to Google so they can appear in sponsored results.



What are the requirements for Google to display product stars with Revi?

You must have at least 50 published product reviews. These can be:

  • 50 reviews on a single product, or

  • 1 review on each of 50 different products.

Additionally, your products must include valid identifiers, such as at least one of the following:

  • EAN code (European barcode)

  • A valid combination of SKU / GTIN / MPN / UPC / JAN / ISBN + marca

📌 These identifiers allow Google to correctly match your products with the corresponding reviews.



How to activate Google Shopping Ratings in Revi:

  1. Log in to your Revi dashboard.

  2. Go to Stores and select the store connected to your CMS (e.g., PrestaShop).

  3. Inside your CMS settings, navigate to the Google Shopping tab.

  4. Click on Activate Google Shopping.

Once activated, Revi will automatically begin sending your product reviews to Google, as long as the above requirements are met.


📝 Note: The display of stars is entirely subject to Google’s criteria and may take a few days after activation. Revi enables the integration, but we do not control whether or when Google decides to show the stars in your ads.
