How can I make a widget show featured reviews at random?

Go to Widgets, select the widget you want to configure and, under Customize widget, find the Reviews displayed setting. This option is available for wide, vertical, grid, floating and carousel widgets.

Choose one of these modes:

• Random selection of featured reviews: on each load, it selects up to the configured number from the reviews you have marked as featured.
• Random selection of featured reviews verified by Revi: it uses the same random selection, but only includes featured reviews linked to a purchase verified by Revi. It excludes imported reviews, Google reviews and reviews without a valid order.
• Standard selection: it keeps the usual filters, limit and order.

Save the widget and check the result on the page where it is installed. The random option changes which reviews are selected, but keeps the configured maximum number.

The selection is shuffled again whenever the widget loads. The same review may appear in two consecutive loads by chance; this does not mean that the option has stopped working.

If Reviews displayed is not available, check that the widget is one of the supported types. If it should be available, or the change is not reflected after saving and clearing the cache, contact Support.
