desde que uso esta crema de peinar , he dejado la espuma. rizos definidos, sin frizz ,hidratados y nutridos por mas tiempo. eso sí lleva un tiempo saber la cantidad exacta que necesita tu cabello. El truco está en empezar poniendo poca cantidad y ir aumentando hasta llegar al punto donde tu pelo se vea correcto sin sobrecargar.

Es un producto caro, pero merece la pena. Llevo ya dos meses usándolo y hace tiempo que noté los resultados. Me encanta, porque el resultado es patente. Y yo nunca he tenido estas pestañas.

Hace ya muchos años que utilizo este producto. Además de ser muy cómodo de aplicar, no se tiene que aclarar el pelo después de su aplicación i queda un pelo muy bien hidratado, cuidado y sobretodo muy suave

Firstly, I have to say that this product surprised me in a very positive way. A little bit of background here: I am a Hispanic with dark, curly and fine hair. And when I say curly hair, I am not referring to the kind of white-girl-curly but to mixed-girl-curly -. Since I like my hair to be straight, I use my electric straightener very often, twice a week to be exact. This is very aggressive for hair, therefore, my hair is not in a very healthy condition; plus, is very long, so the ends are worst. I have experience with many hair products, including different types of professional Brazilian keratin treatments. Professional keratin treatments are great, but also expensive and I can not afford one at the moment. That's the reason why I decided to try Kativa as a DIY. I was skeptical about the straightening effect, and you know what, it turned out to be true. Kativa does effectively straighten your hair and most importantly, it does not damage it! I am currently in my second week after the treatment and so far so good. I don't need to use my iron, only the dryer. Now, I am not saying that I have the Japanese kind of hair (for that I'd still need the straightener), but it looks like a natural straight hair.
CONS: It degraded my color A LOT. I usually dye my hair black, and when I finished it was very brown-reddish. But you know, the product already warn you about this. I did not notice any shine effect at all.
ADVICE: Do not do this procedure in your bathroom or a closed room. Even though the manufacturer of the product claim that the vapors are not harmful, I don't think anyone would like to breathe that stuff. It's just doesn't feel right.
One more thing is that I bought two boxes of Kativa because some people said in the reviews that one was not enough. In my case, (long hair up to the waist and a decent to large volume) only needed one box, which is 5 oz. I guess this depends on your ability for effectively distributing the product in your hair. The after-treatment shampoo, on the other hand, was too little. I had to use the one in both boxes.

In summary, this product is great and it does what promise. I would definitely use it again. It is not better than a professional keratin treatment, which has some formaldehyde in their formula, but let's be honest, that is why the hair looks so stunning. I'd probably do Kativa as my 2 or 3 times a year treatment, and a professional keratin treatment every 16 months or something like that.
