User Terms and Conditions
REVI DIGITAL S.L. (hereinafter, “Revi”) informs Users of these General Terms of Use and Anti-Fraud Policy on Reviews (hereinafter, the “General Terms”), which regulate access, use and operation of the system for collecting, moderating and publishing reviews available through the website https://revi.io.
The purpose of these General Terms is to define the conditions under which Revi collects and publishes User reviews, as well as the conditions for processing personal data of any Internet user who connects to the Website https://revi.io.
REVI offers sellers and buyers a secure and reliable system for rating purchases made online. To this end, REVI sends on behalf and on the representation of the seller (hereinafter, the “Seller”) an email to the buyer with a link to an online form that allows them to rate their shopping experience in a transparent and secure manner.
0. Description of Main Features
Revi’s system allows:
- Collecting user reviews through star ratings accompanied by descriptive comments about the shopping experience or the product purchased.
- Automated sending of email invitations on behalf of the Seller, after an order confirmation, to ensure the authenticity of ratings.

To use Revi’s services and participate in the publication of reviews, Users must have read and expressly accepted, without reservations, the following legal documents:
- These General Terms of Use.
- The Privacy Policy.
- The Cookie Policy.
Revi promotes a transparent and trustworthy environment. Therefore, it actively commits to fighting review manipulation and rating fraud. It is strictly prohibited to:
- Submit false reviews or reviews that do not reflect a real consumer experience,
- Promote or organize campaigns to artificially alter a business’s reputation,
- Introduce offensive, defamatory, unlawful content or content contrary to the platform’s terms of use.
Any breach of these obligations may result in the removal of the Review, suspension of the User’s access or the adoption of legal measures where applicable.
5. Reviews
Users may publish their reviews through express invitations received after making a purchase or through other mechanisms enabled by the Businesses. Reviews must reflect a real and personal consumer experience, related to the order placed or the products purchased.
5.1. General Principles Applicable to Reviews
All Reviews published on Revi must comply with the following essential principles:
- Authenticity: Reviews must be sincere and based on a real shopping experience. The User declares that the Review is based on a real consumer experience.
- Free of Charge: Reviews are published free of charge. Revi does not accept or publish reviews that have been directly or indirectly remunerated. This provision is without prejudice to possible reward programs managed by the Businesses, provided that:
- They are applied equally to all persons who leave a review, regardless of the content of their review.
- The user is informed if an incentive has been offered.
- Independence: Reviews must be impartial. Revi reserves the right to remove any Review published fraudulently by employees, family members, friends or persons directly or indirectly linked to the Business.
- Relevance: Reviews must refer exclusively to the shopping experience or the product purchased. Revi may remove those that deviate from the subject of the service.
- Respect: Reviews must maintain an appropriate tone. Reviews containing insults, threats, offensive or discriminatory language, or those that include personal data of third parties will not be admitted.
- Legality: Reviews that violate current regulations, promote hatred, violence or contain racist, xenophobic, sexist messages or messages of any other illegal nature will not be published.
- Purchase of reviews: No purchase of reviews shall take place. Revi does not promote incentivized or biased reviews.
5.2. Content Ownership
Users are solely responsible for the content they publish on Revi, whether in the form of reviews, ratings, images, videos, questions or any other type of user-generated content (UGC). This means that:
- The content must be based on a real and verifiable consumer experience.
- The user declares to be the legitimate owner of the content or to have the necessary rights to publish it.
- The user accepts that any infringement of third-party rights (such as copyright, privacy or intellectual property) will be their sole responsibility.
Revi.io is not responsible for verifying the authorship of each piece of content, but may act if it receives justified complaints or identifications of possible infringements.
5.3. License of Use Granted to Revi
By publishing content on Revi, the user grants Revi a free, non-exclusive, worldwide, transferable and sublicensable license to:
- Use, reproduce, translate, modify, adapt, publish, communicate and distribute said content in any medium or format, digital or printed.
- Display the content on search engines, social networks, third-party platforms or media associated with Revi.io’s activity (including public certificates, widgets and feeds).
- Integrate the content into rating and reputation systems used by businesses that use Revi.io.
- Retain said content even if the user deletes their account, unless the user manually removes it or requests its withdrawal in accordance with current regulations.
This license is necessary to allow public visibility of the content and its use as part of Revi’s online reputation ecosystem.
5.4. Freedom of Expression and Right to Honor
Revi promotes freedom of expression and the right to express opinions about products or services. However, this right must be exercised responsibly, without violating the right to honor, privacy or image of individuals or companies.
In the event of a conflict between these rights, Revi will assess each situation individually, in accordance with the principle of proportionality, applicable case law and the established moderation procedures.
6. Moderation of Reviews
Revi applies a moderation system based on the principles of objectivity, fairness and traceability. Reviews are treated in the same way, regardless of whether they are positive, negative or neutral in tone.
6.1. Standard Moderation
- Revi may review reviews when a formal complaint is received or when signs of non-compliance are detected through internal control mechanisms.
- All moderation actions are performed manually by the Revi team, following evaluation and documentation of the case.
- All interventions are recorded with traceability of the moderator, reason for rejection and date.
6.2. Moderation Criteria
Revi may reject a review if:
- It violates these terms (for example, insults, falsehood, personal data, spam, etc.).
- It is duplicated, contains unintelligible language or is inconsistent with the experience described.
6.3. Express Limitations
Revi does not modify or edit the content of any review. Under no circumstances may Revi:
- Correct spelling errors.
- Alter the user’s pseudonym.
- Hide parts of the text.
- Change the score given.
Revi does not perform prior selection based on positive or negative ratings of reviews and displays both positive and negative reviews, provided they comply with the established rules.
6.4. Content Moderation
At Revi.io we believe in a transparent, responsible and abuse-free community. Therefore, although we encourage freedom of expression, we implement moderation mechanisms that ensure compliance with our policies, the legality of content and respect for all parties involved.
6.5. Prior or Subsequent Review Process
Most reviews are moderated after publication, either:
- Proactively through random manual reviews.
- Reactively, when a business or user reports a review through the enabled channels.
6.6. Grounds for Moderation or Removal
A review may be reviewed, temporarily deactivated or removed if:
- It violates our General Terms or the law (offensive, illegal, false, defamatory content, etc.).
- It contains personal data without consent.
- It includes inappropriate graphic content or content unrelated to the shopping experience.
- It has been identified as a review not based on a real experience.
- It has been published as part of an organized manipulation campaign.
- It is a duplication, spam or contains unauthorized external links.
In all cases, moderation is carried out with objective criteria, documenting the reasons for the decision.
6.7. Business Right to Reply
When a review is published, businesses have the right to respond publicly from their verified account. This response:
- Is displayed alongside the original review.
- Must maintain a respectful and professional tone.
- May not include personal attacks, sensitive data or advertising.
Revi.io does not edit business responses, but may remove them if they violate these terms or current legislation.
6.8. User Appeal Mechanisms
If a review has been moderated, the user may:
- Receive an email notification (provided one has been given) explaining the reason for deactivation.
- Request a review of the decision.
- Provide additional information or correct the content if possible.
6.9. Moderation Action Log (Traceability)
In compliance with Article 15 of the Digital Services Act (DSA), Revi.io maintains an internal log of moderation decisions, which includes:
- Date and time of the action.
- Reason for moderation.
- Affected user or business.
- Result of the review or appeal (if any).
7. Editing and Deletion of Reviews
Once a Review is published, its content is protected to ensure its integrity, authenticity and transparency. The Business to which it refers may not modify, edit, hide or delete said Review. Only REVI may deactivate its display when, after review in accordance with the criteria established in these Terms, it is determined that it violates applicable regulations or the platform’s terms of use. In such case, the Review will not be deleted from the database, but deactivated for traceability and regulatory compliance purposes.
7.1. Modification and Deletion by the Author
Only the user who submitted the review may request its modification or deletion. These requests must be made through Revi’s authorized Support channel, and may be processed in the following cases:
- Correction of typographical errors.
- Accidental inclusion of personal data or sensitive information.
- Change of experience due to subsequent resolution of the issue (always at the author’s request).
- Voluntary request for withdrawal of the review.
Revi evaluates each case individually to preserve freedom of expression and the legitimate interest of both the user and the business.
7.2. Limitations for Businesses
Businesses do not have access to edit, hide or delete reviews, nor can they alter their content, score, authorship or publication date. They also do not have the ability to influence the display order of reviews, beyond the configuration options provided and transparently disclosed.
This includes:
- The prohibition of directly modifying any part of content written by users.
- The inability to delete negative reviews unless they violate our terms of use (offensive, illegal content, personal data, etc.) and following review by Revi’s moderation team.
- The absence of prioritization mechanisms that arbitrarily favor specific reviews.
7.3. Public Responses
Stores have the option to publicly respond to received reviews. This functionality allows them to offer clarifications, apologies, solutions or thanks, thus fostering dialogue between the business and its users. Responses must comply with Revi’s terms of use, maintaining a respectful and professional tone.
7.4. Indexing in External Search Engines
- Reviews published on Revi.io may be accessible from external search engines such as Google, Bing or others, through the natural indexing of the ratings certificate pages.
- This means that, even if a review no longer appears on Revi.io (for example, because it has been voluntarily deleted by the user), it may still temporarily appear in search engines until they update their databases.
- If a user wishes to remove indexed information, they may request deletion from the relevant search engine through the right to be forgotten mechanisms provided by the GDPR (Art. 17) or request guidance from Revi.io through hola@revi.io.
8. Temporary Suspension and Publication of Reviews
At Revi, our goal is to ensure that published Reviews reflect real experiences, are useful to other consumers and respect both legality and the principles of fairness and respect. To this end, when a User submits a review after a purchase, it may remain pending publication for a standard period of seven (7) calendar days, in order to allow, where applicable, the opening of a mediation channel between the User and the Business. This system is applied uniformly to all reviews, regardless of their rating.
In the event that a mediation case is opened, the period may be extended to a maximum of fourteen (14) days. This time allows the Business to contact the User, respond to their experience and resolve potential issues.
During this period:
- The Business may initiate a private communication channel with the User.
- The User may, if they wish, modify their Review following the dialogue.
- If no modification is made and no violation of the terms is detected, the Review will be automatically published once the corresponding period has elapsed.
8.1. Review Rejection Criteria
Revi may reject a Review when, after review by the moderation team, it is found to violate the terms of use, current legislation or does not meet the minimum standards of coherence or relevance.
8.2. Common Grounds for Rejection of Business Reviews:
- Not related to a real, demonstrable or sufficiently detailed consumer experience.
- Defamatory or grossly offensive content.
- Evident discrepancy between the score and the comment.
- The review is about a product when it should refer to the general experience, or vice versa.
- The text is poorly written or incomprehensible (random characters, serious errors, etc.).
- Total absence of a description of the shopping experience.
- Content written with the manifest intention of damaging the business’s reputation.
- Inclusion of personal data (name, address, phone number, email, etc.) or other sensitive information that could lead to identity theft.
- Incitement to purchase from competing businesses.
- Explicit declaration of not having made any purchase or real experience.
- Content that mentions judicial proceedings or legal threats.
- Promoting boycotts, defamation or organized attacks against a store or business group.
- Presence of insults, personal attacks or discriminatory language.
- Existence of evident conflicts of interest (for example, a review submitted by someone related to the company).
- Comments that respond to other reviews instead of rating the service.
- Spam, links to other websites, advertising or promotional mentions.
- Duplicated multiple times by the same user or from different identities.
- Generated by bots, automated scripts or other non-human systems.
- User’s request to modify or delete their Review after resolving an issue.
8.3. Specific Grounds for Rejection of Product Reviews:
- Defamatory or grossly offensive content.
- Discrepancy between the score and the comment.
- Review focused on the general service instead of the specific product.
- Incomprehensible or meaningless text.
- Lack of mention of the characteristics of the product reviewed.
- Express declaration of not having tried the product.
- Inclusion of personal data or sensitive information.
- Incitement to purchase on other sites.
- Presence of offensive or discriminatory language.
- Out-of-context comments or comments intended to manipulate the product’s reputation.
- Links to other websites or unauthorized promotions.
8.4. Impartiality Commitment
Revi guarantees that reviews are assessed using objective criteria and no automatic filter is applied that favors positive reviews. The same process and timeframe applies to all reviews, whether favorable or not.
Moderation is manual and traceable, and does not involve altering the content: Revi does not edit, correct, summarize or modify any Review. Publication or rejection decisions are based exclusively on the above criteria and are documented.
Mediation does not condition the final content of the review, which will be published according to the User’s wishes.
8.5. Minimum Formal Requirements (Language, Length, etc.)
For a review to be readable and add value, it must meet the following formal requirements:
- Clear and comprehensible language, avoiding excessive use of capital letters, symbols, abbreviations or serious spelling mistakes.
- Reasonable minimum length sufficient to describe the consumer experience.
- Coherent and structured content, avoiding empty texts, meaningless repetitions or sentences unrelated to the experience.
- Content that simulates reviews with phrases such as "I have nothing to say", "I have not tried the product" or similar will not be permitted.
Revi reserves the right to moderate, edit or remove any review that violates these conditions or that, in the reasoned judgment of the moderation team, may harm the reliability of the system.
8.6. Prohibition of Manipulated or False Reviews
It is strictly prohibited to:
- Submit false or misleading reviews with the sole purpose of obtaining a benefit.
- Participate in coordinated campaigns to improve or damage a store’s reputation through inauthentic ratings.
- For stores to condition incentives on the review being positive or favorable. Any reward must be given regardless of the content or score provided.
Revi reserves the right to remove any review deemed manipulated, fraudulent or contrary to the principle of truthfulness, as well as to suspend users or stores involved in such practices.
9. Rules on Images, Videos and Attachments
Revi allows users to attach images, videos or other files to their reviews in order to enrich the content and provide greater informational value to the community. However, this functionality is subject to specific rules aimed at ensuring responsible and legal use of graphic content.
9.1. Graphic Content Rules
Attachments you upload as part of a review must meet the following criteria:
- Relevance: The content must be directly related to the shopping experience or the product/service reviewed.
- Truthfulness: Misleading images, digitally manipulated to misrepresent reality or that simulate false evidence are not permitted.
- Minimum quality: Revi reserves the right not to display blurry, duplicated or uninformative files.
- Format and size: Technical limits on weight, extension or duration may be established, which will be communicated during the upload process.
9.2. It is prohibited to upload:
- Violent, sexual, discriminatory, offensive content or content contrary to current legislation.
- Files containing non-dissociated personal data (for example, national ID, addresses, license plates, etc.), unless they belong to the user themselves and are justified by the context of the review.
9.3. Respect for Third-Party Rights (Trademarks, Faces, Minors, etc.)
By attaching graphic content, the user declares to be the owner of the intellectual and industrial property rights or to have the necessary permissions for its use and dissemination.
It is expressly prohibited to upload files that:
- Show faces of other persons without their express consent, especially if they are identifiable.
- Include images of minors without authorization from their legal representatives.
- Reproduce logos, registered trademarks or materials protected by copyright without the corresponding permission.
Failure to comply with these conditions may result in the immediate removal of the file, as well as the adoption of additional measures where applicable.
9.4. Removal of Files that Infringe Rights
Revi.io may remove without prior notice any image, video or attachment that:
- Violates intellectual property, image or privacy rights.
- Infringes these terms or any applicable regulations.
- Has been the subject of a complaint by the business, another user or an affected third party.
Additionally, users may request the removal of content that directly affects them, in accordance with the procedure for exercising rights set out in our Privacy Policy.
10. Operation of the Questions and Answers System
Revi provides Businesses with a Questions and Answers module, intended to facilitate dialogue between consumers and stores.
- Answers to public questions are provided directly by the Business.
- These answers are for guidance purposes and must maintain a clear, respectful and helpful tone for all users.
- Revi reserves the right to moderate questions or answers that violate the principles established in this document.
11. Anti-Fraud Policy on Reviews
At Revi we are fully aware of the influence that User reviews can have on the purchasing decisions of other consumers. Therefore, as part of our firm commitment to transparency, integrity and regulatory compliance, we maintain an active policy of prevention, detection and elimination of fraud in Reviews.
Revi reserves the right to analyze, investigate and remove any review deemed fraudulent, understood as any rating that does not correspond to an authentic consumer experience, or that has been submitted with the intention of manipulating, deceiving or unfairly harming a business or the consumer community.
The following are considered fraudulent Reviews, among others:
- Reviews written by employees, family members, partners or persons directly linked to the business with the aim of favoring it.
- Reviews secretly incentivized or conditioned on exclusively positive ratings.
- Reviews published under a false or impersonated identity.
- Comments that are copied, automated or mass-generated.
Any User, Business or third party that detects a review they consider fraudulent may report it to Revi through Support or by email at: hola@revi.io
Each report will be individually assessed by our moderation team, in accordance with the principles of fairness, traceability and proportionality, applying, where appropriate, the necessary corrective actions, including the removal of the Review and documentation of the case.
This policy is part of our mission to provide a useful, honest review system in compliance with Directive (EU) 2019/2161, the General Consumer and User Protection Act and the Unfair Competition Act.
12. Verification of Review Authenticity
At Revi we are committed to the transparency and reliability of reviews published through our platform. In this regard, we expressly inform of the verification mechanisms we apply, differentiating between verified and unverified reviews, as required by Directive (EU) 2019/2161.
12.1. Verified Reviews
Verified reviews are those that have been generated by real consumers who have made a purchase from an online store integrated with Revi. These reviews can only be submitted after a process that validates the existence of a real transaction associated with the user leaving the review.
This verification process works as follows:
- Automated Integration: Revi connects directly to the business’s order management system, for example, through specific modules for platforms such as Prestashop, Shopify or WooCommerce, or through an API connection for custom developments.
- Order Detection: Once a purchase is confirmed, the store’s system automatically transmits to Revi the minimum necessary order data (order ID, product ID, user email, user name, order date, order status).
- Invitation Generation: Revi sends an email to the buyer with a unique link that allows them to access the review form.
- Review Linked to Purchase: A rating can only be left using that link.
- Marked as Verified: If this flow is completed, the review is marked as "verified" and displayed publicly as such.
- Review Verified Through Manual Order: Businesses may generate manual orders on the platform under their sole responsibility, expressly declaring that they correspond to real transactions. Revi may request, at any time, supporting documentation of the order’s authenticity.
- Order Import: Businesses may import orders by accepting the express confirmation of their authenticity so that they can be treated as verified review requests.
- Review Import: Businesses may request the import of reviews from other verification platforms by accepting the express confirmation of their authenticity. These reviews may be imported as verified if they meet the traceability requirements, i.e., they include: order ID, product ID, user email, user name and order date.
This system allows the review to be linked to a real purchase process through automated technical mechanisms.
12.2. Unverified Reviews
In addition to the automated system described, Revi also allows stores to request reviews through personalized links, forms or manual imports. In these cases:
- Reviews are accepted even if there is no direct technical link to a registered purchase.
- Such ratings are not labeled as "verified" so that the user can easily identify their origin.
- Some of these reviews may be subject to manual review by the Revi team, especially if inconsistencies, inappropriate language are detected or if they have been directly imported by the business.
12.3. Filters and Moderation
All reviews, both verified and unverified, may go through a manual moderation system when necessary. Revi may manually review certain reviews, especially if they have been submitted through non-automated methods.
Under no circumstances does Revi alter the content of published reviews, modify their scores, or prioritize some over others based on their positive or negative nature. The removal or editing of a review is only considered when its content clearly violates legal regulations, fundamental rights or the platform’s terms of use.
On the Public Page of each business, where the overall information of all store reviews can be seen, users can filter between verified and unverified reviews for ease of use.
13. Automated Emails
Revi offers stores the ability to customize review request emails, as well as thank-you emails. Within this functionality, businesses can freely write any text, which is why some businesses choose to include a loyalty program.
This option is managed directly by the Business, and Revi does not promote, require or actively incentivize the use of such practices.
If used, they apply equally to all persons who leave a review, regardless of whether the review is positive, neutral or negative. This ensures that there is no bias in the collection of ratings and that the text does not condition the content of the review.
14. Display Order of Reviews
In available widgets (such as those integrated on product pages or in the store summary), as well as on the business’s public review page hosted on Revi, reviews are displayed in chronological order of publication, with the most recent appearing first. In cases of reviews in different languages, those corresponding to the user’s display language are shown first.
In product widgets, priority is also given to reviews that specifically reference the product being viewed, to provide the user with information directly related to the product they are viewing.
In general widgets (frequently used on the main or category pages of stores) reviews are ordered prioritizing those with higher ratings and, under equal conditions, the most recent, without excluding or hiding the remaining reviews, which remain accessible on the Public Page. This ordering responds to objective and transparent criteria previously defined by the platform. This format aims to highlight recent and highly-rated experiences, in order to build user trust at first sight, without removing or hiding other reviews that do not meet these criteria, as all reviews are always accessible through the Public Page.
This ordering is not conditioned by incentives, payments or commercial agreements with the business. All reviews, regardless of their nature, are available for consultation.
In all cases:
- Negative reviews are not hidden.
- Content is not altered, nor are some reviews favored over others based on external agreements.
This balanced approach seeks to ensure an honest and useful representation of user experiences, allowing each user to assess the information objectively.
15. Limitations of Use
Users must use the services offered by Revi responsibly, honestly and in accordance with these General Terms of Use, the Terms of Service, the Cookie Policy and applicable legislation.
Revi provides Users with access to a platform exclusively intended to transparently, authentically and sincerely rate their shopping experience or use of products and services, without external interference or purposes unrelated to this objective.
Consequently, the following is expressly prohibited:
- Using the platform for purposes other than issuing legitimate ratings about real consumer experiences.
- Publishing content for commercial, advertising, defamatory purposes or that violates third-party rights.
- Falsifying identities, using third-party accounts or creating multiple accounts with the aim of manipulating the reputation of a business or product.
- Submitting incentivized reviews without transparency or conditioned on positive ratings.
- Any use of the platform that negatively affects its technical integrity or the experience of other users.
Failure to comply with these limitations may result, following review by Revi, in the removal of content, suspension of the user account and/or the exercise of any applicable legal actions.
16. User Liability
Users agree to use the services offered by Revi and to publish their reviews diligently, truthfully, respectfully and in accordance with current legislation, these General Terms of Use, the Cookie Policy, the Terms of Service and the principles of good faith.
Without prejudice to the provisions of the clause on moderation and deferred publication of reviews, Revi does not carry out prior control or systematic review of all reviews published by Users. Therefore, Users are solely responsible for the content they generate, including texts, ratings, images, attachments or other elements they incorporate into their reviews.
16.1. Content Removal and Measures in Case of Non-Compliance
Revi reserves the right to immediately remove any Review that violates current regulations, infringes third-party rights or contravenes the provisions of these Terms, without prior notice.
In particular, Revi may remove without prior notice:
- Reviews identified as fraudulent.
- Unlawful, offensive, defamatory, discriminatory content or content contrary to public order.
- Reviews that infringe intellectual property, privacy or data protection rights.
In the event of detecting reasonable signs of fraud or the commission of a legal infringement, Revi reserves the right to take such legal action as it deems appropriate, including, where applicable, reporting to the competent authorities.
16.2. Liability to Third Parties
If a third party files claims, legal or administrative actions against Revi as a result of content published by a User, said User shall be solely responsible and shall be liable to Revi for damages directly resulting from their unlawful conduct.
In the event that Revi is sanctioned or convicted as a result of a review published by a User, such User shall be obligated to indemnify Revi for all damages, costs, legal expenses, fines or losses suffered, including reasonable legal expenses arising from the defense, provided that such liability directly results from unlawful conduct attributable to the User.
17. Advertising
Revi is not responsible for third-party advertising that may be displayed on the Website, whether through banners, links, widgets, embedded content or any other digital format, the management or insertion of which does not directly depend on Revi.
Any advertising content hosted by third parties in intermediation spaces or external advertising networks falls outside the direct editorial control of Revi. Therefore, Revi assumes no responsibility for the products, services, messages or images that may be displayed through said advertising spaces.
However, if the User detects that any of the advertisements displayed on the Website include content that may be considered:
- Defamatory, discriminatory, sexist, xenophobic, homophobic or contrary to human dignity,
- That promote terrorism, incite hatred or violate fundamental rights,
- That include explicit or implicit sexual content not permitted,
- Or that, in any form, contravene current legislation,
please report it as soon as possible to the Revi team through Support so that we can take the appropriate measures against those responsible for said content.
17.1. References to Revi on Social Media
In the event that the User publishes, shares or disseminates on social media or digital media any content obtained from Revi’s Website or App, they agree to:
- Expressly mention Revi as the source or origin of the shared content.
- Refrain from modifying, manipulating or decontextualizing the content in a way that could be misleading or damage the company’s image, its services or its users.
Revi reserves the right to request the removal or rectification of publications that violate intellectual property rights, trademarks, corporate reputation or these Terms of Use.
18. Intellectual Property
Revi is the exclusive owner of the website www.revi.io (hereinafter, the “Website”), as well as all elements and content integrated therein, including, by way of illustration and not limitation: texts, designs, photographs, graphics, logos, icons, videos, audio files, software, databases, navigation architecture, source code, graphic interface and any other audiovisual or technological content.
Likewise, some content may be licensed by third parties who have expressly authorized its use by Revi. In both cases, said content is protected by national and international legislation on intellectual and industrial property.
18.1. Rights Reserved
The User is expressly prohibited from:
- Reproducing, copying, distributing, transforming, publicly communicating, making available, extracting, reusing or exploiting by any means, in whole or in part, the contents of the Website without the express written authorization of Revi.
- Registering, imitating or using trademarks, logos, trade names, domain names or any distinctive sign owned by Revi or likely to cause confusion.
- Using the design or structure of the website or its modules (widgets, certificates, forms, etc.) for commercial or reverse engineering purposes.
All distinctive signs, trademarks and trade names appearing on the site are the exclusive property of Revi. Access to or use of the Website or its services does not in any case imply the transfer, waiver or assignment of any intellectual or industrial property right in favor of the User.
18.2. User-Generated Content (UGC)
The User shall retain ownership of the rights over the content they generate and publish on the Revi platform (including ratings, reviews, comments, images or any other material, hereinafter, “User-Generated Content”).
By submitting or disseminating said content through Revi, the User:
- Declares and warrants that they are the holder of all necessary rights over said content or have the relevant authorizations for its use.
- Assumes full legal responsibility for the content they publish.
- Authorizes Revi to display, index, reproduce, publicly communicate, store and disseminate said content on its platform, as well as on third-party services (such as search engines, price comparison networks or associated sites), without time limitation, unless the content is removed for violating our guidelines or by the User’s own decision.
Unless the content is removed by Revi for violating these Terms or by the User themselves through the enabled channels, User-Generated Content may continue to appear publicly and be accessible on the platform and on third-party networks indefinitely.
18.3. Reporting Unauthorized Use
In the event of detecting unauthorized, fraudulent or infringing use of Revi’s content, trademarks or distinctive signs, Users are requested to immediately notify via email at:
hola@revi.io
Revi reserves the right to initiate such civil or criminal legal actions as may be appropriate to protect its intellectual or industrial property rights.
19. Links
The Website and Revi’s services may include links, hyperlinks or access buttons to third-party websites, platforms, services or content.
Said links are of a merely informational or functional nature, and do not imply any type of association, approval or control by Revi over the content, policies or services offered by said third parties.
Once the User accesses an external site through one of these links, this Content Policy ceases to apply, and their relationship with the third party shall be governed by the terms and conditions established by said third party.
Consequently, Revi:
- Assumes no responsibility whatsoever for the information, content, products or services that may be found on third-party pages linked from our platform.
- Does not guarantee the truthfulness, legality, suitability or availability of said external sites.
- Shall not be liable in any case for damages or losses that may arise from access to, browsing or use of content hosted outside of Revi.
19.1. Links with Illegal or Inappropriate Content
If the User detects that any of the links present on the Website redirects to content that may be:
- Defamatory, discriminatory, sexist, xenophobic or homophobic,
- That promotes terrorism or any other criminal activity,
- That includes explicit sexual, violent material or material that violates fundamental rights,
- Or that, in general, infringes current legislation, please report it as soon as possible to the Revi team via email at:
hola@revi.io
Revi will assess each case and, if appropriate, will request the removal of the link from the corresponding provider or will preventively remove its presence.
20. Personal Data Protection
Revi processes Users’ personal data in accordance with Regulation (EU) 2016/679 (General Data Protection Regulation – GDPR) and Organic Law 3/2018 on the Protection of Personal Data and the guarantee of digital rights.
When a User publishes a Review on the Platform, certain data may become public, such as the chosen name or pseudonym, the score given, the content of the Review and the publication date. The User is responsible for not including sensitive personal data or third-party information in their Reviews without their consent.
In the case of Reviews requested by a Business after a purchase or contracting of a service, the Business acts as the data controller with respect to the data provided in the purchase process (for example, name, email address or order number). Revi may process said data for the sole purpose of managing the Review request and verifying the authenticity of the experience, in accordance with its Privacy Policy.
Revi shall act as data processor under the terms of Article 28 of the GDPR, in accordance with the contract entered into with each Business.
Revi shall implement appropriate technical and organizational measures to ensure the security, confidentiality and integrity of personal data processed through the Platform.
The User may exercise at any time their rights of access, rectification, erasure, objection, restriction of processing and portability, in accordance with current regulations, by contacting through the channels indicated in the Privacy Policy.
For more information on the processing of personal data, the User may consult the User Privacy Policy available on the Platform.
21. Termination and Suspension of Account
21.1. Revi’s Rights
Revi may temporarily suspend or permanently cancel access to a user account, as well as block or delete user-generated content, in the following cases:
- Breach of any of the terms set out in these Terms or in the linked policies.
- Fraudulent, offensive, illegal use or use contrary to good faith.
- Repeated publication of reviews that violate our content rules or current legislation.
These measures may be applied without prior notice if the User’s conduct is deemed to pose a risk to the integrity of the system, the community or the reputation of the service, unless the law requires prior notification.
21.2. User’s Rights
The User may voluntarily cancel their account at any time. The deletion of the account will result in:
- The inability to submit new reviews on the platform.
- The unpublishing of Reviews previously published by that User, without prejudice to their internal retention when necessary for legal, traceability or defense purposes against potential claims.
Revi will not retain the User’s personal information once the account is deleted, except for information that must be maintained during the legally established periods for legal or contractual purposes.
22. Modifications
Revi reserves the right to modify, update or revise at any time, unilaterally and in whole or in part, the content of the General Terms of Use and other linked policies.
Substantial modifications will be communicated to Users through reasonable electronic means (for example, notification on the Website or email). In the event that the User does not agree with the modifications introduced, they may stop using the services and, where applicable, cancel their account. Continued use of the services after the modifications take effect shall imply express acceptance thereof.
23. Language
Revi maintains the commitment to offer its services, content and legal documentation in the User’s language whenever technically and reasonably possible. To this end, this Content Policy and other contractual texts may be made available in several languages for informational and accessibility purposes.
However, in the event of discrepancy, interpretive conflict or ambiguity between the different language versions of any content, clause or term, the version written in Spanish shall prevail in all cases, as it is the original and legally binding version.
24. Applicable Law and Jurisdiction
The interpretation, validity and execution of these Terms, as well as the Content Policy and other legal texts linked to Revi’s services, shall be governed by Spanish law and by the directly applicable regulations of the European Union, at any given time.
In the event of a dispute or conflict, both parties agree to submit to the jurisdiction of the Courts and Tribunals of Valencia (Spain), without prejudice to the rights afforded to the consumer under the legislation of their place of habitual residence.
25. Validity
This Content Policy governs the relationship between Users and Revi regarding the use of services offered through the Website and constitutes the applicable agreement between the parties in relation to the use of the platform.
This Policy shall remain in force while the User makes use of Revi’s services and shall continue to apply until it is replaced by an updated version duly notified in accordance with the corresponding clause on modifications.
26. Platform Neutrality
Revi acts as an independent provider of technological intermediation services in the collection and publication of reviews, without participating in commercial transactions between the User and the Business. Revi is not a party to the sales or service provision contract that may exist between the user and the reviewed business.
Revi does not supervise or validate the quality, legality or conditions of the products or services offered by the Businesses, limiting itself to providing the technological infrastructure for the publication of reviews.
Consequently, any claim relating to the quality, delivery, warranty or conditions of a product or service must be addressed directly to the corresponding Business.
27. Disclaimer and Limitation of Liability
This clause applies without prejudice to the legally non-waivable rights of Users in their capacity as consumers. This clause defines the limits of liability between Revi and Users, so we recommend that you read it carefully and in full.
Revi makes its online platform available to Users, which means it is offered without guarantees of continuous availability, nor of fitness for a specific purpose, nor of absence of errors. Although the highest standards of technical quality and security are applied, we cannot guarantee that the services will be free from interruptions, technical errors or accessible at all times.
Revi shall not be liable for:
- Damages, losses or harm arising from the use or inability to use the platform, unless arising from willful misconduct or gross negligence directly attributable.
- Connection failures, technical incompatibilities, service interruptions or server outages beyond Revi’s control.
- Any content generated by Users, which is the sole responsibility of the publisher.
- Third-party content accessible through links on the platform.
- Delays or failures resulting from force majeure, fortuitous events or acts of third parties.
The User acknowledges that the use of the platform is carried out under their own responsibility, within legally established limits, and that the services are provided within the technical and contractual limits reasonable for an online review management tool.
Unless the law provides otherwise, Revi shall not be liable, in any case, for indirect, consequential, exemplary, incidental or punitive damages, including, among others, loss of profits, business interruption or data loss, even if advised of the possibility of such damages. In no case shall the non-waivable rights of the user as a consumer under applicable regulations be limited.
Nothing in this clause shall exclude or limit Revi’s liability in cases where such limitation is not permitted by applicable regulations.
28. Complaint Resolution
At Revi we work to offer a transparent and effective service. Therefore, we encourage Users to contact our support team regarding any incident, question or complaint, using the following contact form:

Most problems can be resolved swiftly and satisfactorily through this direct channel.
However, in the event that an amicable solution is not reached, both the User and Revi agree to resolve any dispute through the mechanisms provided in the “Applicable Law and Jurisdiction” section contained in these Terms.
Likewise, we inform Users that, in compliance with Regulation (EU) No. 524/2013, they may access the European online dispute resolution platform through the following link: https://ec.europa.eu/consumers/odr
This platform is intended to facilitate the out-of-court resolution of disputes relating to online sales or service provision contracts between consumers and businesses established in the European Union.
29. Force Majeure
We shall not be liable for the breach or delay in the performance of our obligations arising from these terms when such breach is due to causes beyond our reasonable control, such as natural disasters, pandemics, supply disruptions, cyber attacks, labor disputes or government restrictions.
30. Partial Nullity
If any clause of these terms is found to be invalid, illegal or unenforceable, said clause shall be removed or modified to the minimum extent necessary, without affecting the validity of the remaining provisions.
