Our review methodology

Revi is an independent platform for verified reviews. Our goal is to provide consumers with reliable information and businesses with a trusted tool to manage their online reputation.

How reviews are collected

Reviews are requested directly from customers after a verified purchase or experience. The process is automatic and independent: the business cannot select who is asked nor modify the content of reviews.

Purchase verification

Each review marked as "Verified" is linked to a real order confirmed by the business system. The verification badge indicates that we have confirmed the author made a purchase.

How the Revi Score is calculated

The Revi Score is a recency-weighted average: more recent reviews carry greater weight than older ones. This better reflects the current state of the business service. The formula weights each review inversely to the time elapsed since its publication.

Moderation and transparency

Reviews are not removed at the request of the business. Only content that violates our policies is moderated (spam, offensive content, personal data). Businesses can publicly respond to any review, including negative ones.

Negative reviews

Negative reviews are published just like positive ones. We display the percentage of negative reviews that the business has responded to as an indicator of their commitment to customer service.

Multi-source reviews

When a business has reviews from multiple platforms (Revi, Google, etc.), we display them separately, clearly indicating the source of each one.

Independence

Revi operates independently. Businesses cannot pay to improve their score, remove negative reviews or influence the order of publication. Our business model is based on management tools, not on review manipulation.
