La experiencia en Sicilia, estupenda. La escuela me gustó muchísimo, el ambiente, la gente, el sitio en sí, los profesores. Así que vuelvo muy contenta!La casa estaba bastante bien y con mi compañera de piso, también muy bien. Vamos, es que no tengo ninguna queja!Y ha salido todo el viaje perfecto, algo a lo que han ayudado mucho los sicilianos, que no pueden ser más encantadores y acogedores. La verdad es que vengo enamorada de la isla y de su gente.Estoy muy contenta de haber hecho este curso y de haber vivido esta experiencia

el curso me ha parecido muy productivo, las clases son de un nivel muy alto y creo que se practican las cuatro destrezas necesarias para adquirir el nivel exigido por la comunidad europea.En lo referente al alojamiento, tengo que decir que iba con dudas por haber sido el inquilino de un matrimonio que rondaba los setenta años, si es cierto que iba con unos prejuicios que al final han sido desmontados, el matrimonio ha sido muy agradable conmigo, me han tratado muy bien, y se lo recomiendo a todo el que quiera ir a Florencia, en el caso de que necesiten de alojamiento.Muchas gracias porque ha sido una experiencia muy positiva

fue todo genial. Cuando llegué tenía la documentación y la llave de la habitación donde me habías dicho. La residencia muy tranquila y la habitación muy bien también (me la limpiaron y cambiaron sábanas y toallas una vez por semana y todo). Lo único malo es que hacía muchísimo calor y ni siquiera había un ventilador.La escuela muy bien también. Los profesores muy buenos y superdisponibles (sobre todo, ***). Y el chico de recepción también genial, asesorando en actividades extraescolares y culturales. El ambiente de la escuela, en general, inmejorable.Y nada, ha sido una experiencia muy buena. He aprendido muchísimo italiano y también he disfrutado mucho de la ciudad.Gracias por tu asesoramiento y hasta la próxima (que espero que sea el verano que viene!!!!).

Mi estancia en Torino ha sido fantástica, el alojamiento bien y la escuela también muy bien. Lo único malo ha sido que me ha resultado poco tiempo, cuando ya empezaba a soltarme hablando me tenía que venir.Una buena experienza

la estancia en modena me ha encantado, la escuela me ha sido muy útil y es muy italiana aunque la casa sin duda es lo que más me ha gustado, y la estancia con ***, una mujer con la que he trabado mucha amistad y muy servicialrepetiría la experiencia

La ciudad ya la conocia, pero aun así he descubierto nuevas cosas sobre Bolonia y me gusta incluso mas ahora. El curso muy bien, los profesores del curso de cocina muy gentiles y amables, ademas en el caso de *** me ha enviado todas las recetas y estoy encantado.En cuanto a la escuela, tambien estoy contento, me han facilitado en todo momento el aceeso a la misma e informado sobre las actividades que ellos hacen.Por ultimo el alojamiento, tambien bien, cerca del centro, con una habitación espaciosa y nueva, todo limpio y ademas *** el propietario no me puso pegas y me facilito la estancia en la misma.´

Both courses were really good but I especially loved the restoration course with the one on one teaching/learning with an expert restorer. We used the two weeks to restore a book from 1888 and ***, the teacher, was very generous in her guidance, the documentation she provided, and in showing me and letting me try different techniques along side her as we restored the book. I enjoyed the Italian language course also but found the semi intensive may have been better if I had done it as an intensive course but there really wasn’t the time. I have no regrets though as I enjoyed *** the teacher and the class but didnt find my Italian improved that much. Probably too much of an overload and not a huge amount of time for study after the lesson because the restoration course was very intensive. The accommodation was just a few minutes away from the language school. The Santo Spirito area is charming and a great base for Florence. A bit noisy though with roadworks going on from early morning and quite a bit of noise at night but ear plugs did the trick (at night) but this is how the reality is it is in this area. I had some very interesting conversations with my hosts *** and *** and gained some insight into what it is like for the locals to live in Florence and within the broader context of Italian politics and culture, as musicians and writers. You could never grasp this from an experience in a hotel. I am already thinking that Id like to do some further restoration either on frescoes or more on paper. But Im not even home yet!

I really enjoyed everything very much. *** was a great host and she really went above and beyond to ensure I was comfortable. As for shoemaking, I had an absolutely wonderful time with ***, *** and *** – they really took me in and made my entire trip. *** took me around to his favorite restaurants, *** cooked for me and *** provided the entertainment making me laugh 24/7. I really feel like I made some really great friends. Oh yes, and I did learn to make sandals! It was a great experience and very much my style. The only thing I could say that someone may not like is that if they are looking for a shoe course that is very structured, organized and step by step instructional, then this is not the right course for them. It is very hands on and you just learn as you go – this is probably why I liked it so much as I prefer more hands on. Also, I think that *** really is just such a great person that if is hard not to enjoy the time you spend in the shop.If you have any questions or want to know more, let me know. Thanks for coordinating everything for me. I’m planning on visiting again and would like to take a couple of cooking classes while I’m there.

What I really liked was the ambiance at school! During my stay in Orbetello I made lots of new friends and learnt a lot of Italian. It was an unforgettable experience!
