Ok, so as with all things internet based there was some trepidation about buying from Katanamart. The Matsukura looked great in the photos but would it live up to expectations when delivered?
I'm happy to say that it's exceeded them! Exceptionally well constructed, beautifully finished and correctly packed for transport. After using it for the first time I can only say that I'll be recommending Katanamart to anyone looking to purchase their first sword, not only for the outstanding quality and very competitive pricing, but also for the range available. Well done Katanamart, keep up the very good work.

Es mi primera katana y no puedo comparar, es muy bonita y con unos acabados finos y elegantes, perfecta para exposición. El trato con el personal excelente, hubo un pequeño problema con la entrega pero lo solucionaron rápido y satisfactoriamente. 100% recomendable.

Estoy extremadamente satisfecho con la calidad y la artesanía del Iaito, todo está donde debe de estar, y como lo dice en las características es un sable digno de ser exhibido. La entrega fue extremadamente rápida (menos de una semana de continente a continente). ALTAMENTE RECOMENDADA

As for a katana sword that almost costs 670 euros the first impression one would have when seeing such a sword for the first time, would be one of awe, the same goes for the sample that I received. However, upon some closer examination you might or might not see some flaws with the sword (let's hope for the latter, but be realistic). The sword that I received for example has a rather loose tsuba (shabbard) making the blade slightly bouncy/wobbly when sheathed (this could damage the blade itself). However everything else certainly looks alright and it is quite a sharp and sturdy sword just by the feel of it.
A great blade for a collecter, for the more serious practioners it would be an affordable alternative to the more expensive authentic Japanese katana's.

Estupendo material, muy bien embalado en su bolsa acolchada. Espada muy bien terminada y equilibrada, además, no sé si por casualidad, viene con tsuka montado al revés, lo cual me viene estupendo pues soy zurdo! Envio rapidísimo y sin incidentes con el paquete. Sin duda volveré a comprar aquí.

I read a bad review online about this site and after reading your response to it I figured you must be professional's and I should give it a chance as a Katana is something my big brother & I have always wanted.
I am So Glad I Did because this is by Far the best thing I have ever spent my money on and it is everything I wanted it to be!
Not only did it arrive within a week (possibly less) it came in perfect condition and wrapped up beautifully ready to be handed to my brother for his birthday.
So in summary, THANK YOU KATANA MART!!! You've made my brother & my dreams come true and I can't wait to give it to him for his birthday.
My only regret is that I wish I had the money to have spent More because if this is how beautiful - and real! - the basic Katana's are, I can't wait to see the professional ones!

recomiendo comprar las sayas entre varios, por que así los costes de envío son mucho menores y te sale la saya por 10 e, cosa que en tienda roza los 22, puest0o que se aprobechan de que és algo muy escaso y difícil de encontrar, un claro caso de monopólio. muy contento con mi adquisición

This is the first Katana I brought from this website. It is very good for its price but took a while to get to the UK (6 working days). what makes me give it 3 out of 5 is that it is not as strong as a Katana that is half the price. I know they said not suitable to cut bamboo but I tried it out any way. Nanbu edge bend a little bit after I attempt to cut the bamboo but it was easily fix with sharpening stone. However, what surprise me was that my other Katana got a clean cut through the bamboo without even getting any bump on the edge.
