És la primera Katana que compro en Katana Mart y he de decir que la experiencia ha sido muy satisfactoria, el trato telefónico ha sido excelente, se nota que són profesionales y conocen el material, el nivel de conocimiento sobre katanas que poseía la persona que me atendió és elevado y respondió a todas mis dudas. La calidad de la espada és muy buena y más teniendo en cuenta el precio, el lacado de la saya és impecable, el equilibrado és muy bueno, la tsuba no és de hierro pero está muy conseguida y la hoja és extraordinaria, muy bien afilada, corta el papel limpiamente y sin esfuerzo. Sin duda si esta Katana tiene esta calidad no dudaré en comprar más adelante un modelo superior. Muchas gácias.

At first glace its is beautiful. While sheathed it looks exactly like the pictures listed on the website and is an absolutely wonderful piece of art. However, once taken out of its sheath and held in hand, its faults are clearly evident. First, the tsuba is loosely fitted and has a bit of wobble along with easy to see gapping between the seppa, tsuba, and tsuka. Second, while the handle is 13 inches long the tang only extends to about 8 ½ inches, making the blade feel heavier and more katana like. Finally and most importantly the bo-hi on the blade is poorly done. Not only does it end prematurely but also it varies in width throughout the entirety of the blade. It’s narrow, then wide, then narrow again.

It's a very nice looking item, which came with a 'decent' edge, which I quickly managed to hone to my standard. The blade's durability is not an issue for me so far, however I caused a couple of bends when I hit the neck/cap of the plastic bottle I was cutting.

Very prompt delivery. The Iaito, although inexpensive is of a high quality made from 1060 carbon steel, and has an authentic notare hamon. It is also very light making it suitable for practice. Overall I'm very satisfied with the service.
