How do I enable auto-translation of reviews in Revi?
Auto-translation of reviews is a paid add-on available for accounts with a Premium subscription. It lets the reviews posted by your customers be translated automatically into the languages you choose, so each customer sees them in their own language when visiting your widget or public page.
How to enable it:
- You need to be on the Premium plan. If you are on Free or Pro, upgrade to Premium first from your subscription.
- Auto-translation is contracted per additional language. Each extra language is a separate add-on (around 10 EUR/month or the annual equivalent, check the current price in your panel).
- To contract languages, open your Premium subscription and extend it by adding the languages you need.
How it works:
Once a language is contracted, new reviews your store receives will be translated automatically into that language. Customers visiting your widget or public page in that language will see the translated reviews. Reviews still appear in their original language when the customer is browsing in the original language.
If you do not have the add-on:
- If you have Premium without extra languages contracted, reviews will be shown in the language each customer left them in, without translation.
- If you are on Free or Pro, this feature is not available.
If you need help deciding which languages to contract (because your customers come from several countries or your store is multilingual), open a ticket with your store, your customers' main languages and the languages in which your store has a public panel.
