Blacklist: How to exclude specific emails from receiving review requests

In some cases, you may not want certain customers to receive review invitations. With Revi, you can prevent specific email addresses or entire domains from receiving review requests by adding them to your Blacklist.

How does the Blacklist work?

You can blacklist in two ways:

  • 🔹 Exclude entire domains — useful when you don't want customers from certain platforms (e.g., Amazon) to receive review invitations. Example: if you add @amazon.com, every email address with that domain will automatically be excluded.
  • 🔹 Exclude individual email addresses — useful for test orders or specific customers you'd prefer not to email. Add their address manually to make sure they never receive review requests.

Once added:

  • ✔️ Review requests will no longer be sent to those email addresses.
  • ✔️ If an invitation was already scheduled, it will be automatically blocked.
  • ✔️ You can remove emails or domains from the Blacklist at any time if you change your mind.

How to add an email or domain to the Blacklist?

1️⃣ Go to your Revi Panel.
2️⃣ Navigate to Email Settings > Blacklist.
3️⃣ Enter the email address or domain you want to block.
4️⃣ Click Save to apply the changes.

By blocking an entire domain (e.g., *@example.com), no emails from that domain will receive review invitations.

Why use the Blacklist?

The Blacklist is useful when:

  • You want to prevent internal employees from leaving reviews.
  • You need to block problematic customers from submitting feedback.
  • You want to avoid sending requests to test orders or fraudulent purchases.

With this feature, you can have greater control over who receives review invitations, ensuring your feedback collection process aligns with your business needs.
