What happens when a review is published and the business disagrees?

When is a review published?

A review submitted directly to Revi and found eligible is published once the applicable initial checks finish, without a general commercial waiting period. The process is neutral and does not distinguish by rating, tone, or whether text is present. It may remain pending only for a specific technical, eligibility, legal, or security reason.

Is a negative review removed or restricted for that reason?

No. A review being negative is not enough to remove or restrict it. A real and specific ground is required and is assessed through the appropriate route.

What can the business do?

It may post a public response or use the dispute or reporting route that matches the actual ground it raises. Opening any of these routes does not hide the review or delay its publication.

What role do mediation and the author have?

Mediation takes place after publication and never hides, suspends, delays, or extends the review's visibility. The author may edit it voluntarily, without pressure or incentives; otherwise it remains published unless a reasoned decision is made on a legitimate ground.
