Das Katana ist sehr gut verarbeitet und der geätzte hamon kommt auch sehr gut.

Ich bin etwas enttäuscht von der Schärfe denn da geht echt nich mehr aber okay, ansonsten ist es sehr ausgewogen und leicht zu führen.

Pas besoin que la lame soit aiguisée...

Hab das Katana vor ca. 1 Woche bestellt und ist jetzt da.
Qualität ist top ! sehr gut.

Die einzige kleinigkeit die mich da ein wenig stört ist das dass Katana, Küchenmesser scharf und nicht rassiermesser scharf.
Nichts desto trotz, zerteilt das Katana die Karton Box ohne Probleme :))

Würde hier jederzeit wieder eins bestellen :))

Die Wandhalterung ist sehr schön verarbeitet und sieht Top aus sehr zu empfehlen. Gruß:Kerstin.P

Es ist ein super Schwert liegt gut in der Hand.Aber ein Mangel hat meines.Die Tsukamaki(Griffwicklung) sollte weiß sein aber bei mir ist sie im bereich der Tsuba schmutzig bis schwarz (schade eigentlich). Aber sonst ein schönes Katana.Gruß:Kerstin.P

Lieferzeit etwa eine Woche aus Spanien ist in Ordnung. Die Kommunikation war ok. Ich hatte bei der Bestellung angegeben, dass das Paket in einem Paketshop abgegeben werden soll. Wurde scheinbar übersehen - zum Glück hat es mein Nachbar angenommen. Zur Qualität des Schwertes kann ich nicht viel sagen, da es das erste Katana ist, das ich in der Hand halte. Wirkt recht wertig und stabil.

Owned many swords over the years of various types & seeing yourselves thought I'd take a look at web reviews. Getting 87% thought I'll try you. Purchased this YAGYU & realised how poor my other swords were in comparison. As said stunning! fitted together very well & the balance & handling is superb & in reality even better to look at than the fantastic pictures.
It has now taken centre stage in my collection. I contacted Alex a couple of times with questions & he/she was incredibly helpful & patient. Thank you so much. Delivery by the way for anyone was seven days exactly from purchase to delivery & recorded tracking is available.

I have recently bought a performance iaito, in a desperate need for a dull blade. I received the product in the specified time frame, no delays, beautifully packed. Good workmanship on the tsuka. I have some issues with the saya (wet adhesive sticking to the blade when drawn) but can be fixed with the use of cleaning oil. The iaito does it's job although I could have used a better audible feedback to cuts (I think shallow hi). I would be curious though to try the most expensive blades.

Just want to say I am really, really impressed with this retailer and the quality of products and services are all excelling. The delivery is very, very fast, and Alex is just wonderful in helping make choices and keeping me up to date and he is always quick to respond to any queries I had.

If you are looking for modest price but good quality, then look no further. These people really know what they are doing :)

Before I comment about the iaito, let me put this into a bit of context..

I am about to be off to uni, and of course my parents wouldn't let me bring the family treasured shinken with me, and due to university regulations, I can only bring an iaito. Now, having a custom made iaito shipped in from Japan would be great, but firstly, I don't have the money (I'm a student, duh) and secondly, I don't have the time (awful planning as always from me)... But, I was never impressed by my peers' cheap, Chinese forged katanas when we trained in the dojo. The tsukamaki are never done well (sensei grew very tired of having to correct them all), the balance are often too further to the tip, making the sword clumsy, which could be good for cutting, but NOT for iaido, and I have seen one when the tang was not secured properly, and the sword just flew out from the tsuka. Impressive if that's in a movie, but really not funny when it's in real life.

Now, I was planning to bleed myself a bit and get a tozando when someone recommended YariNoHanzo to me. In the end, he convinced me, and I ordered this dojo pro model...and I definitely don't regret my decision. For this price, this iaito is SUPERB. Very nice balance (I have seen better ones, but bear in mind that they cost ten times more...), giving the iaito nice agility. Modest yet elegant fittings, which is what you want for training (I really can't stand some people going for all kinds of fancy fittings before they can even properly swing the blade). At first I was worried the tsuba's design may make it more difficult to push, but I am happily wrong. It does not affect the drawing at all. Very, VERY nice tsukamaki. My father looked and said he couldn't have done a better job. And when we opened up the tsuka, the tang is hugged nice and tight by the inside of the tsuka, so very secure.

Ok, maybe a little aesthetic glitches here and there. For example, a tiny mark of missed paint on the tsuba or the slightly crude mekugi. But if you are like me, looking for a hardy, excellent iaito for the purpose of training, this sword is REALLY, REALLY good value for money.
