Excellent value for money. I have practiced iaido for many years using a Paul Chen Practical Plus shinken and wanted an inexpensive iaito of similar weight and length. The Yagyu meets these needs perfectly. Highly recommended. Anthony Dack

I brought this sword on a wing, not expecting much on the blade more just for looks for a tour for iaido but I was amazed when the sword arrived which was not only stunning but with an amazing edge, hammon and balence to the blade. I have been using the katana for a while now and have thought I'd put it to the test of tameshigiri in which it truly proved its name as a superior katana... Overall a 10/10, absolutely flawless and would definitely recommend to any experienced practicer

Very nice feel, excellent balance for a longer version for this type. Very well weighted, replicates the weight of the shorter version. The length at 103cm is hard to come by. Traditionally they are 97cm long which for a tall westerner is too short. This size replicates my iaito length so everything is now common.

Great feeling can be obtained from this item. The weight is heavy enough to make you move with the weapon instead of moving the weapon itself which is not the correct method of use. Adding linseed to the finish gives this Naginata all that is required.

Für mich persönlich eines der schönsten Katanas was man auf dem Markt bekommen kann !
Vielleicht aufgrund der Tatsache das es eine sehr genaue Reproduktion eines antiken japanischen Samurai-Schwertes ist :)
Auf jeden Fall habe ich mich sofort in dieses wunderschöne Stück Kohlenstoffstahl verliebt.
Die Klinge allein ist schon ein Kunstwerk für sich, speziell die Gunome-Choji-Hamon = ein Traum.
Zudem super Kaufabwicklung und klasse Kundensupport, weiter so !!

Kann mich meinen Vorredner nur anschließen.
Schlicht , einfach und elegant.
Ein klasse Schwert mit hervorragender Balance sowie top Verarbeitung.
Möchte es absolut nicht mehr missen.

Amazing wakizashi for a great price slices branches so clean they feel sanded, let my pal have a go and my heart sunkas he chopped a tree trunk ): but only put a minor bend on the blade edge, not sure how to repair but damn good blade to hold that amount of damage.

I think the yagyu sword is a very attractive sword but a sword that is well made and very light to handle. It would
stand out on any collectors collection as would using it
for practice. I think buying the YAGYU SWORD like me as
made a EXCELLENT Purchase for this sword. Like me I was very pleased the Katana Sword and I would recommend this purchase to any one.

Samstags habe ich das Geld überwiesen und Donnerstag war es schon da. Die Lieferung war problemlos und das Schwert gut verpackt, also bis dahin voll zufrieden. Das Schwert an sich ist gut verarbeitet und sieht einfach schön aus, alles passt und nichts klappert. Die gefalltete Klinge ist eine Augenweide, nur leider verdammt schwer und das sage ich als kräftiger 83 kg Mann. Für Anfänger ist das Schwert deshalb nicht geeignet! Einziges Manko ist die Saya, die einfach zu billig gearbeitet ist. Ich wollte das Schwert für Laido und Batto-Übungen, aber ich denke das wird diese Saya nicht lange mitmachen, auch nicht mit gefühlvollem Schwertziehen. Ausserdem ist sie stark verschmutzt und durch die Partikel entstehen unschöne Kratzer beim Ziehen und Zurückstecken des Schwertes.
Fazit: Ist zwar nicht gehärtet, aber lieber in scharf bestellen und Tameshigiri damit üben, dann hat man lange Spaß an dieser Waffe.

After the intervention Katanamart my problem was solved.
Today, it is clear that this was unnecessary and unfortunate activity, one man from GLS.
Payment issue was on the side of the bank. (damned banks)
I apologize Katanamart for my violent reaction.
Next time I order Hakama, also at Katanamart.

Very pleasing addition to my collection , first class workmanship , holding this one off work of art , I can almost feel the heat of the forge and the beads of perspiration forming on my brow, the skills involved in the
process makes this Tanto a pleasure to own.

I expected a Japanese White oak Jo, though the one I received had a made in Taiwan sticker on it. The site gives the impression it is an UK based company, though my package came from Italy. As to the actual Jo, it seems ok though would not have paid that much money for a Taiwan copy if I had known.

Sehr schöne Verarbeitung und es überstieg meine Erwartungen direkt als ich es auspackte :D
