How to use the API for developers and find the key

The API for developers is available with any Revi subscription, including Free. It is used to connect a custom development when you are not using a standard module from Shopify, PrestaShop, or WooCommerce.

1. Go to Connected Stores and create or open a Custom Development connection.
2. Copy the API key from that connection. Treat it like a password: do not publish it or include it in code that runs in the browser.
3. Check the current technical documentation at developers.revi.io. The documentation is the source of truth for endpoints, authentication, fields, responses, and examples.
4. Test first in a controlled environment and log the complete API response without exposing the key.

Open a ticket if Custom Development does not appear, you cannot generate or renew the API key, the documentation does not cover the endpoint you need, or a valid call returns a reproducible error. Include the endpoint, HTTP method, status code, and an anonymized sample of the request and response; never send the API key in the ticket.
