I have migrated my store or changed CMS and I no longer see the old reviews

The migration between platforms is available from Pro. Old reviews usually remain in Revi, but they may stop matching the products in the new store if their identifiers change.

The most reliable option is to prepare a mapping between the numeric product ID of the previous platform and the numeric product ID of the new platform, whether the destination is Shopify, PrestaShop, or WooCommerce. Do not use the handle, slug, name, or URL as the primary identifier.

  1. Install and fully connect the new platform.
  2. Wait for all new products to be synchronized in Revi.
  3. Prepare an Excel or CSV with one row per product and the old and new numeric IDs.
  4. Open a ticket for support to review and execute the migration of the reviews.

If you do not have the numeric IDs, Revi can attempt matching using EAN, SKU, or MPN. This method requires that the new catalog is fully synchronized, may produce ambiguous matches, and may leave products unfound, so it is less recommended.

It is normal for two connections to appear during a migration: the old one may retain the history and the new one will receive future orders. Do not delete the previous connection until support confirms the migration. If the order IDs also change, use a different or higher numbering in the new platform to avoid duplicates.

Include in the ticket the old and new domains, source and destination platforms, approximate date of the change, old and new connections, whether it affects store or product reviews, and the equivalence file.
