The "contramaza" has good taste but is smaller and drier than I am used to. I presume that the other side will more "saborozo"... if not, I will let you know!

Obviously this ham is delicious. Then it really comes down to your taste. This one feels more aged than others and has a stronger taste. I must say it does not stand out compared to the other ones I tried the previous years, but it is definitely an awesome ham. I try I a different one every year, so adjusting my taste as I go.

OMG just one of the best hams I have ever tried. I have choosen a big piece as me and my family are ham lovers. The meat is very juicy and its flavour has the special bellota touch so characteristic.

Hola Manuela, la diferencia es que los jamones de Bellota 100% ibéricos se hacen de cerdos de raza pura ibérica, donde la madre y el padre del cerdo son de raza 100% ibérica. Los jamones del 50% se cruza la raza con otra que no es ibérica. El resultado del jamón 100% ibérico Pata negra es un producto con un sabor aun más intenso, y una grasa transparente que se deshace en la boca. Es la máxima calidad en jamones ibéricos y los que llevan la etiqueta negra y la denominación de Pata Negra. Saludos!
