Simplemente es una magnífica revista de ajedrez. Que conste que las he tenido todas desde 1972, y es la mejor.
La sección que he visto en el último número con la reseña de un libro me gustaría que continuase, ante la avalancha continua de libros es necesario para los aficionados que nos orienten sobre la calidad y el aprovechamiento real que tiene un libro nuevo para los distintos niveles. En mi caso fui inmediatamente a comprarme el libro reseñado. Todos los colaboradores son buenos profesionales con mucho que enseñar (los comentarios del Campeón de España GM Iván Salgado de su propia partida, me parecen increíbles por la sinceridad, eso es lo que me gusta). Y así no acabaría de alabar Peón de Rey. ¿Crítica? No puedo encontrar nada digno de reseñar, bueno si, que no sea mensual...
Y finalmente, el Director es una figura única en la historia del ajedrez español. Aparte de sus propios resultados deportivos que son extraordinarios, ha "derrotado" dos veces al mejor ajedrecista de todos los tiempos, en dos match y desde el backstage: con Deep Blue y con Kramnick. ¿Algo más?
