Muy funcionales, ya que además de trabajar la motricidad fina en las cerraduras también se trabaja al insertar cada forma en su correspondiente caja, así como también desarrollan la percepción visual al guardar cada cajita en el cuadro de su mismo color.
También son muy resistentes, ya han tenido mas de una caída con su correspondiente golpe y siguen intactas.
