I enjoyed the Italian Language course and felt I benefited from it. It was however a little advanced for me. When I first contacted Studiainitalia about when courses were available I was told that I could start any week. I booked my flight from Toronto to Rome and then was told that beginner courses were only offered on certain dates stated on the website. It was too late for me to change my flight plans. I had some knowledge of Italian from home study and previous trips, but wasn’t able to understand a lot of the conversation in class as it was spoken very quickly and was beyond my vocabulary.
The assistance provided by Studiainitalia was good and I appreciated the prompt replies to all my email inquiries.

Overall, my bookmaking experience exceeded expectations. By the end of my personalized workshop, I went away with three very well-crafted books. The books and the experiences will last a lifetime.
Logistically, thing were a tiny bit confusing, but this is only because of all the planning that had to take place. It was after I arrived that I learned of the many different people/organizations involved in my workshop, it was difficult to understand with whom I was communicating and to whom I owed money for various services.
That said, I would do the whole thing again.

We enjoyed the course very much. This was my first course with StudiainItalia but the second course for my girlfriend. The staff determines the level of course during an initial interview and the determination of language level seems to be accurate. The teachers are professional and we loved the experience. We plan on returning for another course.

I loved every minute of my course in Naples. The school facilities were good and the teachers fantastic. I will definitely be recommending the course to interested people
A couple of minor things that might be improved:
1. signage at entry - I did have a little trouble locating the entrance on my first day (easy after that),
2. this one was both an advantage and disadvantage - no textbook was provided (good as I did not to add a book to my luggage back to Australia) but the little photocopied pieces of paper used in class were hard to file when I got home. I use these as a record of my progress as I learn from my mistakes.

I took the course for about a month and it was a great experience! The instructors were talented, friendly, and helpful and my pottery skills improved tremendously. I would definitely recommend this course.

It was an amazing experience with ***. She is patient and able to understand your needs and the type of paintings you want to focus on. She is a really kind person that makes the communication really easy and fluent. If you really want to improve your painting skills in such a beautiful city as Florence I highly encourage you to take this course. It has been such a great inmersion in oil painting and I will for sure repeat in the future.

Yes enjoyed the course and time in Bologna. Everything was great. the school is great and the team is very nice and make and effort to create a school/team spirit proposing extra hours activities. *** is a great teacher. Highly recommend it. Regards.

The school is located within a four-minute walk from the Duomo in Florence and has a good staff at the reception, made up of friendly, helpful and English-speaking people. I was assigned the *** class with ***, who, despite being just 30-years-old, is a informative, generous and easy-to-talk-to teacher. He taught us not just how to work on the tornio (wheel) but also other techniques for ceramics as well as various ways to work with clay. Unfortunately, it took the school almost three weeks to arrange for paints and access to the oven, so we only got one week to experiment with baking, learning how to decorate such as painting, scratching, etc.

I want to thank StudiainItalia for all the information and help they’ve extended. In fact, *** was especially helpful with visa paperwork and ironed out some visa process issues as well. *** too kept in touch to keep my abreast of all back-end details I would need. I didn’t know what to expect when I signed up for this course but it turned out to be such a great experience. I studied at school in ***’ class, for four weeks. I started off from Level A1, completed Level A2 and did one week of B1. At the school, the *** and *** as well as *** ensured that we were kept in the loop of all events and activities, and were always approachable. *** ensured that everyone in the class was keeping up and is a really patient teacher. I really really enjoyed myself. Another aspect was that as a student at you could also sign up for cooking classes, art tours, etc at a nominal fee.

My leatherwork course in Florence far exceeded my expectations! *** is not only a skilled artisan and excellent teacher, but a very warm person who made me feel welcome in the workshop every day. She is meticulous in her approach, ensuring that each item is constructed and finished to a very high standard. I made three bags and a number of small purses over two weeks. The one-on-one learning environment allowed me to make the most out of every minute that I spent there and I’d love to go back again to continue learning this wonderful art. I’d like to send sincere thanks and appreciation to both *** and her *** who is also a skilled leatherwork craftsman – and helped with translation when required as I speak no Italian! I highly recommend the course to anyone interested in leatherwork.
