Conviene recordar que con aquellos duelos de Kasparov con Karpov el ajedrez era conocido y hasta noticia en todo el mundo (aunque luego cayera ante la máquina Deep Blue)

En ajedrez no suele cumplirse lo de lo que bien empieza bien acaba. Precisamente por no saber resolver el final se malogra todo un proceso de trabajo con la frustración que ello conlleva. Karpov nos muestra su arte y virtud de sus brillantes finales.
