Algunos comentarios se quejan de que este reloj no tiene sistema de incremento tras cada jugada. Efectivamente, no tiene incremento, y por ello ofrece un precio tan ajustado y una calidad adecuada a las partidas amistosas o informales en casa o en el club. El modelo 1002, por muy poco dinero más, ofrece la posibilidad de incrementos. Hay que decir, que para partidas de ritmo clásico, es necesario usar la gama más alta de DGT, como el modelo 2010 o el 3000.
