The professional black iaido/kendo gi arrived within 3 days. It feels comfortable enough and sturdy enough to be used as intensive as a workhorse. It is very good to have during cold training sessions especially when worn over a shita gi. I hope it will last many years. What I was not happy with, was the lenght of the sleeves. Usually, both in kendo and in iaido, the sleeves of the gi are quite short, reaching a little beneath elbow level. However, that can be fixed easily. All in all, I am glad I have found it.

Really pleased with our 2 katana. Very good price and just what we wanted. Our Iaido instructors told us we could not get a carbon steel blunt Iaido, they were wrong.
Would be good if there were different sized blades to choose from.

When changing from a bokken to a `live` sword, there is always some apprehension. Weight and balance being the main concern followed by quality. All concerns disappeared on delivery!
When ( if?) the time is right for a `Shinken` or an upgraded katana, then Katanamart will be my supplier of choice.

I have purchased 4 Iaito and 1 Shinken from Katanamart / Yari no Hanzo and I have never been let down. from this iaito the Murakami to the Ryuzoji (Its a crying shame that this sword is permanently sold out. I purchase the Iaito for my students and if its good enough for me, its good enough for them. I cannot sing the praises of this company enough.

Had previously purchased the Katana Kake Double stand and was well pleased with next day delivery of a value for money stand - but although well pleased with the Katana Kake Triple stand it took over 10 days to arrive for a cost of £9.50 ! In my opinion a better courier should be used - I ordered a Knife from Japan at a cost of $7 for shipping and it arrived in 5 days !

Moving from a boken to one's first `live` sword was always going to be a bit of `hit and miss`. I chose this particular weapon based purely on the weight and length. Plus the fact that it could be dismantled like a `real` katana. I cannot be more pleased with both the weapon and the service and communication from Katanamart. When (if?) the time comes when a Shinken is the next step, or indeed I require an upgrade on my iaito stock, I will not hesitate in contacting Katanamart. Domo Arigato Gosiamsu.

The Kama is excellent and the 'rope' is good. The finish on the pouch of the weight was poor and I have replaced it with leather instead of the heavy pvc 'leather' supplied.

Just received my new ninjutsu gi and I'm very impressed. It was larger than I expected but nice washed and dried it fitted perfectly. Service from katanamart was great as usual.

Lovely balance, and a smooth finish, a couple of slightly rough areas, but these have now been sanded to a smooth finish, great service thanks guys, would highly recommend!!!

I recently bought this blade (Akechi) with a black Sageo (the string tied around the `holster` for the blade, remember to order one because it it's not supplied with the blade).
The blade is in excellent quality and it was a nice surprise to find the Sageo already bond around the Saya (

Really nice sword. Ligh and naturally fitting to hand. Nice texture of folded steel and beautiful tsuba. I can see only mistake missing scabbard mouth on saya causing sword is jiggling inside.
