The handle was thicker than expected and the size was a little to big but nothing some good wood work couldn’t fix. I really like this and it looks really really good.

Beautiful Iaito. Balanced beautifully and stunning to look at. I recommend Budo Design to beginners and advanced iai practitioners. Lovely sound when swinging. Nice menuki, hamon and tsuba. Tsuka is nice to grip. Saya is lightweight and finished beautifully. I have received some nice compliments from very experienced fellow iai students and teachers on Instagram about this entry level iaito that I have purchased too. The sword arrived well packaged and quickly from the store to the UK. Very decent prices at this store, I highly recommend.
