My third Yarinohanzo iaido.

An impressive sword. Well balanced, quiet cuts. Leather tsuka fits nicely in the hand. Very good value for money.

Very pleased with the service and quality of the product. The GLS tracking system was confusing we stayed in all day because it said out for delivery, however this was to Royal Mail not us. This isn't a reflection on Katanamart, just worth other customers being aware. It still arrived with-in the dates advised.

its a lovely sword. But little bits of wood keep coming out when the swords removed from the sheath. Also wish there was a metal koiguchi. Not fussed on it just having an open hole that's not covered other than that it's lovely

I am more than pleased with my purchase. This is a good budget sword. It it is light and fits the hand nicely. I haven't really tested it, but it cuts fluently with little to no pressure trough thin paper. The sword does bend a little when swooping form left to right but i imagine this is normal for a light cutter within this price range.
Aesthetically it is pleasing to the eye and the finishing on the sword is well done.
The only remark i have is that the bamboo pins were hard to remove, i noticed that they sat slightly diagonal trough the tang.

to conclude : when you buy at YariNoHanzo, you get delivered at home exactly what they show you on their site, this certainly isn't always the case with other competitors.

Very nice looking sword, however a few small details let it down. The wrap on the tsuka was poor with fraying evident and obvious signs of melted ends repair. Saya was loose but not a biggy as I can put a shim in to secure the blade. Otherwise a good all round starter Iaito.

The Daito arrived quickly, well packaged. An error in ordering (from myself) was dealt with quickly and efficiently.

At first glace its is beautiful. While sheathed it looks exactly like the pictures listed on the website and is an absolutely wonderful piece of art. However, once taken out of its sheath and held in hand, its faults are clearly evident. First, the tsuba is loosely fitted and has a bit of wobble along with easy to see gapping between the seppa, tsuba, and tsuka. Second, while the handle is 13 inches long the tang only extends to about 8 ½ inches, making the blade feel heavier and more katana like. Finally and most importantly the bo-hi on the blade is poorly done. Not only does it end prematurely but also it varies in width throughout the entirety of the blade. It’s narrow, then wide, then narrow again.
