This tanto is great and exactly as described. It is a gorgeous blade, and arrived within the timescale given. I am very pleased with it and would thoroughly recommend - I will definitely be buying from Katanamart again.

This is a fantastically made tanto with a perfectly balanced weight. Not only is the quality of the tanto brilliant, the price is also good value for money! I woul highly recommend this product for anyone looking for a decent tanto at a reasonably low price.

I was more than impressed at the quality of this item for the price. Obviously at this price range you are not going to get a genuine Nihonto (or anything approximating one!) what you do get however is a decent looking solidly constructed fully functioning Tanto that performs well during cutting duties.

A nicely made and very spacious sword bag. It comfortably fits my Iaito and my Bokken and each has their own compartment so the two swords don't make contact. This bag has lots of room inside and I think I could easily fit one more sword inside the other half and could probably also fit my Jo inside. A great bag for an excellent price.

Sword as described,well made and finished, if anything exceeding expectations , well balanced to handle .Came in silk bag inside a padded vinyl case and double boxed up ,also fairly quick delivery considering Easter bank holidays .

I don't usually write these, but the quality of service that I received at katanamart was absolutely superb and I would like to pay back somehow. Since I was ordering from Poland, I had a couple of questions and technical issues, which were all immediately, kindly and competently answered and resolved. Also, the quality of the product is no less than great. I have no reservations whatsoever in recommending the katanamart. Thank you once again!

I bought the sword for my Haedong Kumdo training. I needed a solid and heavier iaito mostly for practicing forms, drawing and restealthing the sword.

The blade is the best part of the sword. It has a good balance and seems to be very good quality in this price range. Tsuka(handle) is pretty thick and straight. Good for people with larger hands, but I personally prefer a better profile in the tsuka. Tsuba is solid and very nice, but the inner edges are quite sharp so it tends to chafe my hands during longer katas.

Only major issue I had is the saya(scabbard). It works and stays in place but it is quite warped. Maybe I just got a bad one. The construction of the sword is still very good and solid. The blade is top notch but with a better tsuka and smoother tsuba it would've been perfect. I still recommend this sword for everyone!

Very pleased with the sword, you couldn't do better for the price... In fact it's better than some that are much more expensive.

Stunning! This blade has clearly been made properly sing folded steel, and a non-uniform hamon which suggests this was not done by machine?! Historically relevant menuki was a nice touch, and it was a big surprise to find that the inner side of the fuchi has an engraved signature! Would never have thought I could find a sword like this for less than £500 (even that's a push). Handles beautifully and looks gorgeous.

When buying a katana for the first time was told of a fee places that I could buy from but katanamart kept comming up.

I wanted a good blunt katana for my practice and was pleased with the aperance of it and the weight and the balance is really good.
Some of my friends who also had bought thier more pricey katana elsewhere was impressed with it and how it handled.
Will strongly be passuading everyone to buy from here.

When I recently purchased a katana - which was brilliant - I forgot that I would need a kake to store and display it correctly, so I ordered this Single Kake which was on sale anyway, a mere £12 and a few pence. The real surprise wasn't that it was a decent bit of kit at a remarkable price, but that it arrived the next-day despite being sent from overseas. Excellent product and service.
