It would have been useful to have information regarding blade length and sword weight. My order was processed and delivered very quickly, and I was pleased to find that it came with a cloth bag which I had not expected.

I wanted a 6mm Tsuba for my restoration of my Katana, this fitted the bill. It is made from blackened iron with lovely detail and it fitted my tang with no adjustments needed. This is another excellent product from this even better company. If you need any advice or not sure of sizes etc then just send an email to Alex who will bend over backwards to help you.

i own a seki ju kanesada blade, koto period c 1540. so i was more than a little uneasy when i ordered a reproduction kamakiri blade. i could not get over the quality of the steel and the build quality. it is never going to be an original blade. but at a fraction of the cost of an antique one it is truly remarkable. i am more than pleased. thank you, john mccartney.

The sword is fantastic for the money, the blade is beautiful, the fittings and sageo exquisite. The Tsukaito is tight and well wrapped, the Tsuba is well made and so are the other fittings. The only thing that let my purchase down was that there was no protective wrapping around the braiding and being a silver white in colour was filthy dirty. I did not want the hassle of returning the sword as it was out of stock. Luckily for me I brushed the braiding and it became a lot cleaner. Apart from this minor problem I can highly recommend this JinTachi it's the best made one I have seen for a very long time. It looks fantastic on a Tachi Kake, this is an excellent company to deal with, 5 stars all round.

I am very happy and pleased with this sword, the fittings are very nice, the sword is very well put together and has a good balance and weight, I definitely recommend these swords as I have 2 from katanaMart now
