The sword was amazing, I the finish on the saya was very nice. The weight and feel of the sword is perfect. Very happy with my purchase would definitely recommend it :)

i own a circa1540 koto period seki ju kanasada blade.so i wasn't expecting to much when i ordered the kamakiri at a fraction of the cost. well the first thing i did when it arrived was take the tsaka off.it has a full forged in tang. it has a lovely hamon and over all the blade shouts quality.how a katana of this standard can be sold for the money, i dont know. i love it. the rest of the package is of quality workmanship as well. i'm a retired engineer so i know what faults to look for. there are none. i am more than pleased. john mccartney.

Recently purchased this katana, the reduced price of £126 represents very good value for money considering the quality of this sword. At 810gm it is also light weight an yet has a robust feel about it too. Although to soon to see how robust over time this sword will be, initial impression is good.

The naginata looks great, the curves are beautiful as well as the material (good quality oak). Its heavy as it should be for it's size and will be an excellent training weapon for years to come.

Very well made, the right size for my height, but the Gi top doesn’t give enough room to move. I think you’d have to be quite skinny, to be comfortable in this Gi.

The overall quality of the sword is very good for the money, however what was very disappointing was the lack of curve, it was 2cm less than advertised.

Beautifully lacquered shirasaya shinken, very impressed with quality and value, great customer service and correspondence (exemplary in fact) packed well with protective cloth bag too. Very much recommended! :-)
