Este jamón es el segundo que le encargo a Antonio Alvarez y si bien el primero se fue volando en navidad pues se junta mucha gente en casa, este lo despacharemos mi marido y yo, es un jamón de muy buena calidad con una grasa que se corta sola y se funde en la boca.Con este jamón no tengo molestias intestinales como con otros jamones que quizás estén presalados con nitrato y nitrito,(no lo se), pero ya no cambio de proveedor, se que este no me defraudará.Un jamón de esta categoría debe estar en la mesa familiar al menos una vez al año.

Esto lo compré para cocinar, pero lo cierto es que tras encetarlo nos supo tan rico que cayó el primer tuquín bastante rápido. Muy buen sabor y estupenda curación.

Como pega diré que tiene más grasa de lo deseable, aunque tiene en conjunto la pieza, un gran sabor, y este desde hace años, no es sencillo de encontrar por mucho que uno rebusque y menos a un precio tan razonable. Es natural 100%, y eso tampoco es facil de encontrar hoy en día por desgracia, y dentro de todas las opciones que he ido encontrando (algunas de casas de solera), esta es la más sabrosa de todas ellas si hiciera una valoración en conjunto de las mismas. De curación perfecto también, en su punto ideal, algo que no siempre sucede. Añadir que estaba disfrutándolo en menos de 24 horas y eso que mi región, León, está en la otra punta de España.
